Large format printing, signs, & installations.
While also doing some freelance design, I worked full time in the print and sign industry. I learned how to produce large scale graphics for window vinyls, car wraps, vinyl cut lettering, and so much more. In addition to operating the large format printers, I also handled file set up and project management on jobs that required installation. The most satisfying part of working in the sign industry is seeing my designs come to life in full scale.
The Current Hotel
The Current Hotel was built a few years ago at Rocky Point in Tampa, FL. They needed signs for their restaurant, rooftop lounge, and wayfinding signs throughout the building.
For Julian, their first floor restaurant, we came up with a sleek and resilient cut Metal letter in a bronze cast.
For the rooftop bar, ROX, we created a dimensional white acrylic letter mounted to a gloss black acrylic piece.
Other wayfinding sings were cut vinyl mounted to brushed acrylic and back painted white for a soft, dimensional look and feel.
